Young musicians and their families are invited to join us on a trip to Bridgewater Hall, Manchester to see the BBC Philharmonic 2025-26 Season Fountain of Youth concert.

Update- coach collection/drop off will be on Temple Road, Buxton. The coach will leave at 5pm so please can everyone coming along arrive for around 4.50pm to allow us to leave promptly. The concert ends at around 9.30pm so drop off is likely to be between 10.15pm and 10.45pm, depending on traffic.

Please note that places are only confirmed when both the completed form and payment have been received.

Here's some key information about the trip:

Concert- The concert promises to be very exciting and features a new composition including 9 bagpipers, Augustin Hadelich ( one of the top 5 Violinists in the world) and Tchaikovsky 5th (which Derbyshire County Youth Orchestra is playing in July). Who can come along?- All PDMC young musicians and their families are invited to join us. PDMC players over the age of 14 may come on this trip unsupervised (with parent permission) but any other children must be accompanied by an adult.
What is included in the trip? Coach transport between Buxton and Bridgewater Hall. Concert tickets.
Time- The concert starts at 7.30pm. Transport times will be confirmed closer to the time.
Price- £20 per person (including all adults and children). Bursaries may be available to help with the cost of young people attending where family finances would otherwise make this difficult. If you wish to apply for a Bursary please complete the online form here as soon as possible, as funding would need to be in place to confirm their place.
